I say that.....life is for living....not for housework........my good lady is always reminding me about tasks around the house......she made me change the duvet covers yesterday ( rotten task for anyone)...

Try taking the same subject using flash without the diffuser, then one using it......I have improved mine by placing a layer of kitchen foil inside the top half , this increases the distribution of light through the single layer of white kitchen towel inside the lid.....this gives best results.

I do, adjust flash EV power and my camera ISO level according to ambient light.......a good test is to shoot a Ladybird without the usual blown out highlight.

More please...........Only when you've finish your chores though ;-)
