They are really interesting, and look like little creatures.

 

It's strange you should say that Tina... I think the first one looks like a horse from the back with it's head turned to look at the camera... mind it might be something to do with the Magners Pear Cider I'm drinking... :rofl:

annie... I used my Panasonic FZ100. Sometimes when I'm on one of my long treks like yesterday's in the Forest of Dean I don't want to be carrying lots of gear with me ( already had bins & telescope tripod etc) and the Panny is a very good all rounder. I went out yesterday primarily to watch Peregrine Falcons at Symonds Yat Rock and they put on a good display of their flying skills. No photos though... too far away... it was viewing only through binoculars & telescope.
