TESTING TESTING

Recommended Posts

I had a great find today, which was good because I was on my way home from visiting a brother who is back in hospital again.

Feeling a bit cheesed off I decided to hop off the bus in Leamington Spa, I had been told that there was a SONY lens for sale in the local CEX store, a place for buying and selling used technology; I get my phones and DVDs from there, everything is guarunteed for a year:

There it was, a used SONY SAL 55200 DT 55-200mm f4-5.6 lens for £60, I know that SONY lenses are usually much dearer than that so I went for it.

I am pleased that I did, when I saw the results produced here...............Yes! the Castle shot has had a boost, but without a great photo foundation it wouldn't work it is uncropped:

The Daffodils likewise are, as-shot, but given my usual treatment in CS6 using soft brushes on flattened layers to adjust tones selectively, plus a little selective sharpening at different levels to make it POP!

Best viewed LARGE....Click on Pic:

The lens appears to have been a good buy? Cant wait to see what it can do for portraits and in the street....it has good reviews:
