Thanks for the comment and interest. As usual these were taken through our glass sliding kitchen window, the 'roos being only about 10 feet from the door. This is one of our 'regular' Mums and her last years joey, so I guess my caption would be : Come on then, where's the brown bread!!

Just a quick reply to this. They are back again,( in full daylight!!), and this time the joey is saying "Good, now there's something I can reach!':

You have an advantage of being able to see them in their natural environment.

It must be terrible for them when you have the bush fires.
