A disappointing sunset..

 I sat  on the  north side of the Teifi Estuary overlooking Poppit sands  to watch the sun set  thinking it  would  fizz into the open sea to the right of the peninsula  but  it actually dropped  behind it eventually after I'd sat there  for an hour waiting  for that moment ....doh ..

Been there done that ... well not actually 'there' but I know how frustrating it can be Polly. Still not a bad picture to come away with.

You have to be there to get the shot I guess? It does not always work out as we want but every now and then a moment arrives.

Its a King fisher game Polly , just have to wait and hope for that right moment , I am still waiting for a sunset picky ,

If that's a disappointing picture, your standards are higher than mine! Maybe not a spectacular sunset but it has a lonely tranquility about it.

 The trouble was David I really wanted to get the  sun dipping into the sea ... It was a 3 hour journey  to the place , 2 nights booked at a local inn , weather  checked  for a fine evening .. and all chosen to facilitate a birthday treat  of  catching the sun setting  in the sea.. Just a minor miscalculation  leading to a major disappointment....soIhave to make do with  dozens like this one  ...

Next time I'll go further  down the coast where it's usually busier ... drat !
