I'm working locally for a change this week so have the time to take the dog out on the morning and do my calls from mid-day. Ang and I have taken advantage so had some lovely walks, some rather splendid coffee/tea stops and even the odd piece of cake or three.

This morning we stayed very local and walked along Roker seafront, up and down the pier then called into a little cafe for a bacon sarnie and pot of coffee/tea - this is part of the fence that stops people going along the pier when the sea is to rough....

Tha\nks BP, I was in two minds to go for the Mono or the Colour version of this shot, as I did both... I think mono's do a better job of depicting the light than colours under certain circumstances...

Can't see a colour version working - this has a strong linear feel that needs less distraction to  work.
