It is utterly irresistible and sooooo quick.

This is what I went with

27-inch iMac with Retina 5K display

* 4.0GHz quad-core Intel Core i7, Turbo Boost up to 4.2GHz
* 32GB 1867MHz DDR3 SDRAM - four 8GB
* 512GB Flash Storage
* AMD Radeon R9 M395 with 2GB video memory

The RAM upgrade came from a third part as it was significantly cheaper - I very nearly went with the 395X 4GB card but for the £200 extra I couldn't find a single source that said it was worth the spend so saved it for a future external drive upgrade.
I've just thrown caution to the wind and downloaded/installed MacOS Sierra tonight which went smoothly and is running fine. Thought I might as well as I had nothing to lose as I had a fun backup to fall back on if it went screwy. I now have Siri and further iOS integration.
