Napoleon Bonaparte

Bonaparte lived from 1769 to 1821. I have a massive interest in his relatively short life that I spend a lot of time learning about. I read loads and discover loads. Keeps me occupied.

Beautifully crafted Kev........I like high key portraits but would prefer to see a living being.

Nice record shot Kev and you have caught the tones nicely except on the top of the head that is losing detail.

If it were a portrait I would say it's suffering from top  lighting and panda eye syndrome.

A slight aside to this pic Kev......Your interest in the great man has reminded me that Napoleon III lived in Royal Leamington Spa for a time during the 19 th Century, there is a blue plaque on the house.

It might be worth Googling fir the facts?

Napoleon III was the younger son of Louis Bonaparte, Napoleon's brother and therefore the nephew of Napoleon. He did spend some time man did indeed spend some time residing  in Royal Leamington Spa.
