My beautiful Orchid (Phalaenopsis).

This orchid was given to me some months ago, it belonged to a 93 year old lady who had to go into a care home. I know her son and he was going to throw the orchid away as it had been neglected and was in poor condition. I have brought it back from deaths door and now it is better than my other five orchids.

That's a beautiful Orchid, John, and a nice sharp image too.

It's getting near the time when the wild orchids come out here, in Victoria. That's if they are left alone, by the rabbits, kangaroos, wallabies, birds and...................

Couldn't agree more, Vaughan. Did you emigrate? I've been here (from London originally, then Bideford, Devon), since'71 and have been back a half dozen times. But each time, can't I wait to get back home (here).

But what I do miss, is that feeling of history that you have in the UK.
