A bit more bird life........

Went for tea at our closest neighbour's yesterday, almost a kilometre away from us. The vegetation on her property is slightly different from ours, and her resident birdlife is also slightly different. Obviously I have no control over her 'set up', so the pictures are not brilliant, but did manage a few shots of some thirsty birds to show you. She has a bath, just ouside the windows which she keeps filled for native animals and birds, and this is where the birds were. The first one is of 4 New Holland Honey Eaters,  very flighty birds, but lovely:

I did get a bit better one of a cheeky bird looking straight at us. You can see better what they are like:

We are working on plants that attract these birds in the hope we can encourage them on to our property, so hopefully some bit better pictures. I think MY windows are a bit grubby - HA!!!. but no offence to our friend  :D
