That looks to be one damn good find Bill......the forget-me-not  study has a beauty all of its own.

i take it is a dedicated Macro lens like my SONY 2.8-100?

 

Strangely enough, I took my SONY A55 out of storage the other evening, put on the Macro lens to shoot flowers, including forgetmenots.

Chrs Fuji, yeh it goes to 1:1 or just as a 100mm. When I first set eyes on the forget me not in lr I thought "sugar its not in focus", but the more I looked at it the more it grew on me very minimal processing done on it.

I think I will enjoy this lens, as we have a fairly large garden so plenty to shoot, and all in range of the KETTLE!

Great shots, I have the USM version of this lens. I think Paul has the Image Stablisation version. I often use mine with Canon's 12 and 25 Extension Tubes - sometimes both together - though Canon don't recommend that.
