A bit more of our wildlife.......

We occasionally see a wallaby around. Wallabies are solitary creatures and forage alone, not in groups like the 'roos. The one we have seen, we think is old and either visually or hearing impaired, as it doesn't seem to have a very strong flight response. This morning something caught Kelly's attention and when I looked I saw:

Just casually browsing on a native shrub. I approached a bit closer and i got the 'Well, what do you want?" look!

Then he just strolled of into another bit of garden, giving me a look before he left:

As usual just quick grab shots as these things do not pose!!!!

I am smiling to myself here......Why?

There is poor Annie wrapped up like an Eskimo snapping away at Dickie birds in below zero temperatures.....and at more or less the same time.....we have Kobione sitting in the sweltering heat of an Oz summer snapping Wallaby's.

Give me moderate temperatures any time.

great shots from our female version of ....David Attenbourough

Thanks, gang. Heather they are not as agressive as some of the male 'roos, and would tend to 'hop it' if we came across one unexpectedly. Annie when I grabbed the second shot I was only about 10 feet away from him!

Fuji, it's the contrast that sometimes makes it fun!

I wish, Fuji! Hopefully the close ups of something different for you over there are nice to see :D
