I got sent this the other week, and not a family photo I've seen before, it's of my Great Grandmother (on my fathers side of the family), I know my Grandparents married in the early 1930's, so this must be from the early 1900's

One of the favourite/popular fancy dress costumes of that period, were as a direct result of seeing Seaside periot? Shows, I would imagine that great grandma was wearing such a costume?  

Good she looks in it too.....I can almost hear the Charleston playing and the rattle of long bead necklaces. ?

We do love a bit of detective work  Rye .. It's where Judy and I met ten years ago ... Searching for ancestors ! :lol: Haven't been able to get on here  for hours ... So although this is the wrong place... while it's  working I' ll post in the daily challenge when I can get online ...so if it's late ... Yer know why ... Like most of us access is becoming a nightmare ...
