It can be very difficult to get close to a wily bird like the Jackdaw...........I was able to creep up on this one on a particularly cold day...........I realise the shot is a little noisy but think it adds to to graphic qualities;

ISO was high because I had been capturing gulls in flight just moments before:

Yes, Nanny............our part of town has always been known as.......Jackdaw Country.

We also get large flocks of Rooks in Little Wood just up the road from our house.......there is great fun when one of our resident Buzzards gets amongst them.

I haven't seen the Buzzards yet, but would love to get a pic of them.

I got one with my first Panasonic at Leamington but he was flying so high that I had to blow it right up for a man who hunts with his Falcons to identify it for me.

It wasn't really clear enough to be any good for anything else.
