Backlit bouquet ...

Th 366 challenge is making me explore more ways of  using my  Panasonic  camera  using some of the  integral filters  that I hadn't really bothered with before ...so this  is the one of the results.   A  bit grainy ..EXIF Data  available..

Thanks muchly  folks ...Some interesting comments  there ... it could lead to long discussions about what a photograph is, and how  people see different things in a photo because we each have different pasts.

It's a long time since I read any of  Roland Barthes' Camera Lucida  Judy.... and funnily enough  I had a similar reaction to yours when I saw the image in camera  I thought it was maybe as I have been watching The Dickensian  recently and  Miss Havisham  came to mind . The  filter was the starlight  one ... though in this shot I hid the   fairy lights  behind he foliage  but the  iso and aperture and shutter speed   were determined by the filter programmme... No other lighting was used in the dark hall save a  small 40 watt table lamp ... about fifteen feet behind me   to the left .   This image below  was the  first image I took with a view   to post in the 366  project ... this was to  see how the starlight  filter  worked .. It is the  shadows  on the wall   that gives a veiled  bridal  look  though in the one posted originally.
