OK, here we go.
I set up this particular challenge as an incentive mainly to myself. I seem to spend plenty of time on the forum doing admin stuff, but never enough with the camera itself. So I thought " why not open it up to everyone", how hard can it be to take just one photo a day and post it? Rest assured, I will be carrying this on.

Today's from me. Taken just now on my phone, a view of my workplace.

Trouble is Phil ... there may well be more people interested who haven't seen that you  have made it open to all ....It's only in the last few days I think that you mentioned it ...  as long as the EXIF shows it was taken on a date can we post later ..say within a fortnight  if we are away on holiday without internet access.... otherwise I'll be  stuffed when I'm in Monaco !!

I really don't mind if a regular contributor misses the odd day, or even a fortnight for a holiday etc. what I don't want are images dropped in on a whim, that's not the point of this challenge. What I would like is for anyone that enters within the first week or so to commit to continuing for the duration, for me at least it will provide the motivation I need.

Scrub that! We have new members joining all the time and that statement kinda prohibits them from taking part, existing members can also begin the challenge at any time.

I suppose it all depends on whether you want something new to post every day, I did a 100 Days of Nature Challenge that the BBC ran and dcided to continure it on past the 100 days, I got to 209 different images however is was on a limited theme, but it is a challenge no doubt if you want 366 images of different things.
