Had a wander out tonight with a couple of mates to see if we could get a few shots of the illuminations at Roker.

Bit random but these are the ones I like from the first run through Lightroom...

One from the iPhone mounted onto my proper tripod, shot using a SlowShutter app and triggered with my Apple Watch to reduce shake further...

Shot 1 is just great - the POV is excellent and the figures lend a great sense of scale. Top stuff!

You can mock Bobble Hat Monthly all you like, but this month's centrefold is a stunner. It even put a smile on the face of Baron von Lumix!

Putting a bobble hat on Miss November doth not a beauty make.

Her Lumix may prefer his ladies with a tendency to wrinkle but Edna (98) from Middle Wallop should never be seen without considerable scaffolding and a corset tight enough to make an iron girder wince.

Its called Slow Shutter Cam - look for this app logo.
