Tiverton Balloon Festival (2)

Recommended Posts

Yes, I'm with everyone else with number 4, that said the flame coming out of the roof of the LandRover in the first looks intruiging. (Ok the basket is probably on the other side, but it does look as if at any moment the Land Rover is going to take to the air.)

I can still remember the look on my old dog's face (Granville) when a hot air ballon came really low over some trees while we out for a walk and the way he backed off a bit before barking at it. Whoever said dogs can't look up was wrong - I think it was popularised on Shaun of the Dead. My dog used to watch Squirrels when they ran up trees- he always remembered which one as well, so on the way home he would look up into the the same tree the squirrel ran up.

Had to race for shelter in my scooter a few times! There was some spectacular lightning but I didn't manage to get a shot of any sadly.

I very rarely gallivant these days, so 200 shots taken in 4 hours was about par for the course

Will post a final selection from the Festival tomorrow.
