Cathedral Cave

Found in Little Langdale in the Lake District in Little Langdale Quarry is Cathedral Cave - this seemed an interesting challenge to photograph and it was very cool inside which was a welcome respite from the heat outside. This is the combination of 5 images to blend the exposure and is best viewed on a dark background. A bit of an experiment but seems to show the effect of being in the cave I think. What do you think?

I do like this...lots!

I tried a similar thing in a stone quarry on Menorca a couple of years ago, not as good as your shot though, the lighting looks really effective.

I must  have missed this somehow......  a really  nice composition  and definitely   gives the cool atmosphere  you were seeking ... I agree with Chris about  maybe  showing a couple of the "inbetween" exposures... It would showcase what a good job you've done  too;)
