The whites of Iris....

Recommended Posts

Thank you Ron ... yes I was up late ...and early ... couldn't sleep  so I got up again!

Interesting Geodar ...on my monitor  the irises are bright against the dark background that particularly wanted .. I have checked my monitor calibration which seems spot on ...so I  have adjusted  the level  for the whites trying to avoid any parts  becoming blown to see if it looks better  for you ... Thanks for your input .. I do appreciate other opinions..cheers..  Oh Dear ...Not sure which one I prefer now ;)

Hi Chris ...  I think I do too  the more I look at it ...  I sometimes find if I post on my iPad  where I do have the screen brightness turned down it colours my judgement if I tweak in the photoshop app instead of the PC or laptop.  I agree with Geoff that the yellow pops more, regardless . Thanks for the input.. I find it interesting comparing other views... Broadens our horizons as with most things .... ;)

Thanks Ryewolf ... Maybe I really do need a trip to sp#cs*v#rs     Thanks everyone for your comments ..all have been helpful...

Interesting exercise...  Thanks Judy ... I still prefer to see the lines of the stalks more  so maybe there is another version that will satisfy me that is in between. The background on the second one is a bit too dark for me and leaves ( no pun intended) the irises almost floating in mid-air..

Thank you all for your feedback ... It is valued  very much .
