Such  showy bloom ... the Magnolia Stellata Royal Star....just hope the late  frosts don't  creep up on us .  Not really happy with the focus on this one ... makes a mental note ... " Must do better " :)

I planted mine three years ago Paul so it's still a baby... I think the hundred or so miles difference in a Southerley direction probably makes mine a bit happier!

Thanks too Jaitch... A long way to go still  I think ..

They look very striking when they are out don't they ? Just hope we don't have a sudden frost ...always a risk this time of year.

Oooh it does make one feel better when Mother  Nature casts off her grey damp winter coat . It wouldn't be so bad if we even had more mists or snow  for  atmosphere... but when it was just grey and damp and flat ......ugh...Still we wouldn't appreciate warm sun and colours aplenty if we didnt have the dull times to contrast them with would we .?

So I'll stop moaning  now ...     :yes   ( smacks  wrist  for being negative !)

Thank you Ron.... It was a really bright sunny day too so I was concerned I would lose detail on such a bright white flower .... They are really so "Persil" white. It's right outside my kitchen window so the washing up seems less of a chore at the moment .... :)
