Hits the spot for me. I like it when you experiment, it gets me thinking which is a good thing. 

 

I really like what you have created here. If you don't mind me asking, how did you light the subject Paul?

 

Thank you Kev, two shoot through (translucent) umbrellas ,a large one positioned just above head height and to the right with a smaller one at camera height and frontal as a fill light,it's called loop lighting.

Very  effective use of mono plus colour (and BP can't even complain about selective colour on this one!)

 

Just one question - did you sandwich two shots together? Or was she lying down (can't see how you'd get the lino in shot otherwise..)?
