Ooops  and I have over 200 corms I planted  early May so I should know better....doh  ... They are such showy flowers  but all of mine except 6 are an  apricot colour. The 6 red ones I have are a very deep wine red ..I'll take a pic and post one tomorrow  ... they are  a beautiful flower and of course the corms just get be bigger each year you  plant them and  really are worth the  time taken to lift ,dry and store them over winter  protected from the frosts.. We haven't seen your garden in full bloom this year John ......
