Family walk

Looks a very pleasant walk Paul. Noticed you've got an EF-S 55-200, did this come with the 70D you bought? I got one with my 90D, not had chance to use it yet, though your images look good, so is it any good?

It's an old one (the lens is a series 1 and not the STM II series) that a friend asked me if I wanted to buy it for £25, so I said I would give it a run out.

It's not very sharp so each image needed a bit of work to get the end product.

I had asked around for a basic 18-50 or 18-55 or similar like a 17-40, for a general walkabout lens, and she said have a play with this zoom which she no longer uses having bought an M series camera.

If yours is the newer version, you'll get better results - the series II STM lenses have improved the IQ a lot.

Paul.

Thanks Paul, the 90D did come with a EF-S 18-55mm STM f3.5-5.6 IS which I'll probably never use as the Canon 24-105mm f4 L covers most of the range and I have a Tokina 11-20mm f2.8 and a Sigma f1.4 35mm Art lens, plus now the Canon EF f1.7 50mm nifty fifty

If you decide to release the 18-55 I might be interested.

You have a great range of focal lengths and some really good quality glass. The Art series get good reviews in most cases and any L glass is obviously top grade.

The Tokina I don't know a lot about, but as long as CA is well controlled I'm sure it won't let you down.
