Thank you for those few kind words lads ... sometimes the cold winter days afford one the time to go back and look at stuff we did in the summer but just haven’t had the time to process . It just doesn’t seem that long ago since I was having to water the garden twice a day to keep the plants alive ..

It’s a bit twee the image  but I just loved the light on the blooms and the bokeh that I get with this lens .

Missed this one clicks.  Nice lens. Produces a lovely bokeh as you have pointed out.   I swapped my 14mm  f2.8 for the 16mm f1.4 not so long ago and I still wonder whether I should have opted for the zoom.  Love the colour in this.  Might be worth lifting the shadows at the centre of the flower heads a little but a really nice study.

I Thanks John ... it is straight out of the camera this time  except for the reduction in size and the dropped shadow border.  It was a difficult decision I  admit when choosing lenses .. I was going to go just for the Primes  but .....   thought I might just get more out of  this one ... I ‘m like you, still not 100% sure if I made the right choice ... the opposite way round .    Having  said that I am happy with it .   Being greedy, there isn’t a FujiXF lens I wouldn’t welcome though  .. five down ... how many to go .....???
