I'm afraid they are on  Viburnum bushes Brian and whilst they are not toxic to the birds ... you'd have  a bit of a   belly ache  or worse  if you ate them ....

 Thanks all for  the  comments  .. always interested  in opinions of others ... ... Both were taken with the FUJI  XT 2  before I changed it for the XT 3 last September. Both using the super little 35 mm f 1.4 lens. which is just  a fabulous lens in my opinion ... sharp as a razor  , and the bokeh wide open with it wide open to me is insane ... I should try it out more doing street work  ... I may try more of that this year ... I 'll give Fooj a  call for a day out in a few months I think ...

Btw the bokeh on both was the result of shiny wet Camellia  leaves  in the background ..
