Often wondered how ladybirds started out in life.  Interesting series Rye.  The Bronze Shieldbug is favourite.  Is it cropped?   Might be worth  including all of its antennae (if that's the right word) if you can.

Thanks John, alas on that shot I just managed to miss getting it's antennae in frame, I posted a different shot I took on the Slice of Life thread that had the whole bug.
