We went on that a couple of years ago. We were on one of the steam trains, which unfortunately broke down.

Had a great day on that railway a few years ago (when my energy levels were normal). We took the train out and walked back. Lovely!

I really like that  curve in the track, makes for a strong composition.

It is a beautiful area Korky.

When you see the steam trains out in the real moorland it is quite inspirational and could make for some fantastic photography. Some little roads cross the line in more remote moors locations so you don't have to walk too far!

Nice composition and colour on what was a very contrasty day.  Whitby is a favourite destination and I keep meaning to find time to photograph some steam but the opportunity hasn't happened - yet. :12_slight_smile:

Thanks John

Get over there on a nice day and its a most therapeutic experience.  :14_relaxed:
