Cheers Kev, its a really beautiful building, this is just the southern tip and the best VP, the front is amazing but in a very bad state of repair.

Its worth a re visit Kev, even though as I mentioned to Fuji, its had a bit of a battering lately, but there is a lot to photograph around the town.

Just the perfect viewpoint for a building well worth photographing.  I think my instinct might have been to crop the bottom up to the base of the grass in order to lose the OOF area bottom left and I don't think the BG needs to defocussed.  It's part and parcel and belongs.  Just my take.

Thanks John, I wanted the foreground for two reasons, firstly I feel the iron rails lead in is a very important factor  in the balance of the picture, and I also wanted to have a good strong base for the building?
