Omg Beepy .... that looks horrendous... ... I can hardly bear to look   .. that really is awful ...  poor little chap ... That looks  like  it will require careful monitoring... I bet Angie  was mortified too. .  He' s going to feel that for a while  bless him . ...

The nurses and staff at the A&E were brilliant, checked him over, let him play on an iPad, got advice from the trauma department in case he needed to go to 'plastics' then, happy the cut it clean and straight, went with staples. Frankly I'd have been screaming the place down and feinting every time I looked at my leg but Thomas was un fazed and amazingly brave. He did wince when the nurse stuck a general anaesthetic needle into it and jumped a bit when each staple went in but otherwise he's fine.

Its not a morning Ang and I will forget in a while

So glad to hear he wasn't absolutely traumatised ... don't kids just surprise you every day with how grown up they are ????   Looks like the iPhone had a field day too.Thank God it was his leg  and not anywhere near a vital organ .. I bet you have been reliving all sorts of alternative scenarios in your head .... your relief is palpable that it  was his leg....and not near a vital organ ...  I feel sick just thinking about it ...
