Lichfield Cathedral (2)

It is an incredible interior to attempt to capture David, your HDR treatment does offer the viewer a real sense of space, clarified by the added light.

Lichfield Cathedral, like most other large places of worship, is awash with nooks and crannies filled with items of interest almost every square yard.....a photographers dream, as long as you follow the rules of the house...so many opportunities to try out almost any genre of photography, lighting and processing.

I like these.

  • I love the interiors of our great Cathedrals... so many places  to catch the way light plays on stone and statuary. It is tempting to always capture symmetry at the expense of some of the obscure corners of these magnificent buildings ...   I like these too though I agree with John .... possibly could be a tad less bright and saturation dialled back a smidgeon ... just an opinion  though  David ...    ( sorry we will not see you at the weekend btw .on the Buxton meet ... )
