Looks rough and hot and sweaty and bleak and I bet that knackered old wheel can tell a few tales about all the daft buggers who've taken its photograph!

Fortunately not, JH, although we did stuff one tyre up on another road and had to replace it in Alice Springs.

It was hot and sweaty, Korks, but there is a strange beauty in the harshness and isolation out there. It was when we stopped to take this photo that the road train, that I showed you earlier, went past and covered me and camera in red dust.

The photo is of "gibber" desert, which shakes the absolute crap out of everything.

It's certainly a unquie view,, deserts are not something we see to often in the UK... OK, we never see deserts in the UK... Unless it's a dessert...
