I have always like Royal Enfields, That villiers 4T transplant was a good fit, cracking engine too:)

 

My Constellation leaked that much oil, the lads at the pub called it a 'Royal Oilfield'. I very nearly purchased an Indian made Enfield a few years ago!

From what I remember the earlier Royal Enfield Turbo Twin (non sport model) had a Villiers 2T engine which had round pots unlike the square ones on the 4T, the 4T was extremely smooth for a two stroke... quiet too. It was very peaky and needed to be kept on the boil which was part of the fun.
