Even though I have always been careful, my hotmail account was closed down and I had to go to the msn site to change my password as someone was sending spam out to people in my msn address book. I've no had any more trouble, but it just goes to show how clever these people are.
  2. Definitely good advice. I was petrified when I upgraded the firmware in my Panasonic bridge camera in case I messed up, and chose a nice quiet time to do it so I could follow the on screen instructions carefully.

Don't click on anything in an email that came to you without your knowledge of the sender. By clicking unsubscribe, you are telling whoever sent it that your email address is a genuine one and you could lay your PC open to threat, be it scam or spam. I delete anything that I don't know about and only unsubscribe from things that I know I have subscribed to in the past.
  4. Had a quick flick through. There's some good stuff in there. Thanks for the links. It will give me something to do when hubby falls asleep over Christmas. lol.
  5. That's great, and a Happy Christmas to you and yours too.
  6. Glad I'm not the only one. My glasses steam up in the bathroom. Very handy as I don't have to look in the mirror then. lol. i guess I am lucky as I have really good hearing, but it's very frustrating as my hubby is very deaf and has the TV up so loud. I'm sure that it will damage my ear drums one day
  7. HI Matt. Lucky you living in Cornwall. You should find plenty of inspiration there.
  8. I will be 69 this month but my head say's that I am only 29
  9. Hope she's not too shaken or hurt in any way.
