  1. http://apkforkindlefire.com/APK_Panasonic-Image-App_Kindle-Fire.html Just found this on the web. I just typed in Panasonic image app for Kindle Fire and it gave me several links and info. Haven't had time to read them as my daughter is taking me grocery shopping early today. I am going to read up on the app later, as I will put it on my fire if it is compatable.
  2. I will have a look at the Kindle Apps later, Chris to see if the have it in their collections. If it did work with Kindle, that would probably be better, due to the smaller size and lighter weight.
  3. I love to see old photo's like this. Thanks for sharing.
  4. I finally managed to connect the TZ60 via WiFi to my ipad mini. I downloaded the Panasonic Image App and had a go at connecting. Here is my first try at remote photography using the App for settings etc. Chris, if you haven't already tried it, you might find it useful.
  5. I double dare you Fuj, and the buses are actually going along Corporation street again, too.
  6. I haven't been around much just lately and have missed welcoming all the new members, so Hi and Welcome from me.
  7. Definitely a winner, Paul. I love it. .
  8. I'm still getting letters and circulars from Virgin offering deals and asking me to go back, 12 months after finishing with them.
  9. I was with Virgin ( ntl world) from thevery beginning, and it wasn't too bad at first, then my internet went to crawling and they said that the only way around it was to have the faster package and the new Super hub. That didn't solve the problem and nothing else did, so as soon as my son installed the satellite dish for Johns TV, I finished with them. I have spoken to other Virgin original customers around here and none of them were happy about the service that they recieved and have since changed their isp. The man almost opposite to us had a lot of trouble too, and most times that the engineers came out to check mine, he had also rang them to come out. The engineers found corrodd wires in the box up the road and fixed that, but reasonable service didn't last more than a few days at most. we were one of the first areas to have cable, so maybe they needed to do some updating on the original cables, and also to provide people with a decent hub at the same time. They were ringing me up a lot during my months notice o ask me what they could do to put it right, but I told them that I was fed up with the many quick fixes they tried and it was just too late. I am happy with Sky at the moment, so will just see how it goes. They do seem to listen to their customers, which is good.

. Well deserved, BP. I looked at it for ages when you first posted it, trying to figure out how you got that effect.
  11. I had a lot of trouble with Virgin. I was paying for a fairly fast service when it continually kept dropping or was non-existant at times. I changed to Sky for my phone and unlimited internet ( not cable) a year ago and. I have had smooth running internet ever since. It has dropped only twice in that time and a message came up on my screen both times to tell me that it was trying to re-connect, which it did pretty quickly. I had 12 months free internet and they have just given me another 12 months for £2.50 pm. For the line rental, unlimited internet, unlimited landline calls and unlimited phone calls from my landline to mobiles, I pay under £30. Video and music streaming is very near perfect, where-as, it was impossible to even try to watch a video with Virgin. Needless to say, Virgin are still sending mail, trying to get me to go back to them. No chance of that happening. I have saved over £25 by having a Satellite dish with free channels and just opting for the phone and Broadband from Sky and if my service keeps as good as it is, then I will stay with them.
  12. I have a big onion that is starting to shoot. Do you think I would stand a chance with a shot of it?
  13. Well done RW. The tiny crystals must have been hard to focus with such a small DOF. .
  14. I've saved the link to have another look, too. Amazing clarity from a big distance.
  15. A good choice, Chris. Well done, Polly. Lovely work.
  16. It's still sad. I still have pictures of all of my ferrets and other past pets, and when I look at them, I remember the happy times.
  17. That's really sad. Having lost one of our granddaughters when she was only five years old, I know just how much those photo.s will mean to the little girls family. On a cheerier note, I look forward to seeing your pics again, and it will be something new for you to shoot too.
  18. Well done, Paul. Lovely shot and beautiful colours.
