  1. That's what I was thinking, Dave. I can only think that, as Steve says, it's to do with the compression.
  2. Steve, you may have a point there. I never thought of compression being the reason.
  3. I've noticed that when I click on a posted image to view it large, the colours look very different. In the case of Fuji's gerberas, the original looks almost red, but the enlarged version looks quite yellowish orange. Is it just me, or do other members find this? My monitor is calibrated with Huey, but that shouldn't make a difference.

    It wasn't an easy choice this week - there were a few that I thought were outstanding. Close runners up are by Blackrox and by Toonamp. But the one I've chosen this week, for its great composition and lovely detail is Startled! by Charlie. I love the expression, and the plain background really makes it stand out. Well done Charlie!
