Friday we went for a mooch around the riverside and docks for the Sunderland 2018 Tall Ship Race. I'll bung up a picture when I get round to sorting them...

Bit of a catch-up Thursday Thomas and I went down the coast bird spotting - there are loads of kittiwake and cormorant chicks on the rock stacks and even a few razor bills nesting.

In hindsight I should have gone a little earlier to get deeper pools but I had fun trying to line up the lighthouse with what was there. I haven't watched that series but people keep going on about it so I might use the Sky box and download a few....see what the fuss is about.

Getting in early - finished off my recent purchase with a lovely dark red soft shutter button..... I’ll be out every day shooting with it.

It hadn't been cut for a while (quite a while actually) so its scorched badly in this dry, hot spell. To be honest I'd rather gravel it over but the missus likes grass.

Sometimes I like a well crafted landscape, sometimes I like a monochrome that grabs you by the (insert your own anatomy) and sometimes I like to be entertained.
