  1. I used a tripod and the cameras focus stacking mode, I ought to use it more often... It seems to work quite well!

  3. Taken in my garden. Panasonic DMC FZ2000.
  4. Taken in my garden. Panasonic DMC FZ2000.
  5. I've just been playing in my garden as it was sunny for a while. Panasonic DMC FZ2000.
  6. From my files... I'm not getting out much at the moment!
  7. Here's another Four-spotted Chaser... One from my files!
  8. Thanks Polly! I originally had two plants in different colours, last autuum I split each plant into three and they are all doing well. Panasonic DMC FZ2000.
  9. The colour shot is great!
  10. One of my favourite flowers. Panasonic DMC FZ2000.
  11. Taken in my garden. Panasonic DMC FZ2000.
  12. I'm sorry for my absence recently, due to health problems I haven't been out much for weeks so no photography. I did manage to photograph the eclipse from my garden this morning but it was not easy as there was too much cloud. It was a case of grab shots when the cloud thinned for a couple of seconds, I didn't take a single shot with clear sky, these shots were taken through very thin cloud... I think this may have produced better images though. Panasonic DMC FZ2000.
  13. Having been a fan of the 'Shadows' since my teens (that's a long time) I have never heard anyone come close to playing 'Wonderful Land' like Hank Marvin.... that was until I came across this guy... he really is amazing.
  14. ......... this was taken on 3rd March 2018.
  15. I doubt there will be much interest in this but just in case here goes.
  16. I just found this. https://www.msn.com/en-gb/news/techandscience/this-really-is-the-surface-of-an-alien-world-nasa-shares-new-pictures-from-mars-landing/ar-BB1dU4J1?ocid=BingNews
  17. I watched it live on NASA TV. We won't be seeing any HD images for a while as it takes quite some time doing all the system checks etc. I'm looking at NASA TV several times a day, looking forward to seeing some great images.
  18. It took over 4,000 people 8 years working to get these pictures across nearly 300 million miles of space... my mind boggles!
  19. Well.... I thought this is really fantastic considering the thousands of images that were taken and stitched together and sent millions of miles across space, it must have taken a long time for someone at NASA to clean up and stitch the images to make the video.
  20. I found this earlier...it's stunning! The shots were taken by the earlier Mars rover... Curiosity.
