  1. QUEEN........(I Want to Ride My Bicycle song)
  2. As a result of the help, most gratefully received, we are ready for off, with: The Pesents All I have to do is slot the title page in to the folder, wrap it and we're away. Hannah had better like this!!!!
  3. Thank you very much for the kind offer, Steve. I think it is in hand, now. :)
  4. Nanny, that's what we did - plug Hubby's monitor in to my computer, but it's a time issue as well. Last time I did something simple, like create a title page - no probs. but, this time, processes have changed and then I called in to work today (unexpectedly), so that limits my experimentation time. Heather, I think you have it right. Looks like I have some help at hand just now, (thanks to BP). This was really my fault for leaving it until the last minute, but we didn't foresee the extra difficulties like the monitor dying, extra time away from home etc. Thanks for all your suppport :)
  5. Can see you're going to have some fun, BP!
  6. Thanks Phil. Fuji we have reset and relocated my monitor, but still no result. David's comptuer is basically set up for our business purposes. His aspect ratio is quite different, and he doesn't have any editing software. If I had more time I'd be able to sort it, but I need to have this finished tomorrow, and I have to work! Fingers crossed.
  7. Sorry to do this, guys, but my monitor has died this arvo. Currently using hubby's, and can access the forum and other stuff via the laptop and tablet. Unikely to get a new monitor until after the weekend. Problem is we are off to our eldest G'Daughter's 16th birthday on Saturday. We have the usual pressies, but there is one very special one. Quite a while ago I wrote a story for Hannah, called 'Knight on a Misty Mountain'. I never had it prined as a book, but I'm going to give it to her this birthday, just printed off the 'puter. In keeping with the title I have selected 3 images, which I wanted to put together as a simple collage, and write the title on them and then print that off as the title page. Now I'm stuck, because I don't have access to photo software on my laptop, downloaded a Collage Maker, but haven't got the time to learn it before I need the image. Can anybody out there please help? I can post the images, or PM, or direct email to anyone who is willing to help. Any suggestions gratefully received :)
  8. And just a bit of fun... a bottle from last night's tea:
  9. Spotted this brochure at the vet's yesterday, so I grabbed one to photograph for our 'B' week: It's a scheme to test brains of cattle and sheep to provide proof of freedom from Mad Cow Disease. Thought the title was a bit of fun!
  10. Great choice, Annie. Well done, Blackwolf - your bird photography shines again!
  11. One of our regular haunts: This is up in Charlton, the town that was devastated by floods about 18 months ago. We like to support them, and they make the best coffee and muffins Bit fuzzy, not sure why, although I think there might have been condensation on the lens.
