"Rustic garlic"
I had a bumper crop of garlic last summer including this powerful purple variety.

Wow, I wish I had such a Bulgarian friend.

Missed the cut off by 2 minutes. I got distracted from uploading my entry by BIll's amazing portrait.

Lots of great images here: I’m struggling to decide which one to vote for.

Congratulations Korky. And thank you Clicker for closing the voting.

Thank you for appreciating my intention in taking the photo, Korky.
I’m glad I joined the 52 wk challenge because it forces, I should say “encourages” me to engage in some photography every week. This is enriching of my life and good for my photography skills. John is 80 & still farming. His wife died recently and he’s still driving his ute to feed his cattle. Stoic.

Well done John. Skilled work. You’ve become a Guest?

Now that’s an unusual image. Great title. A jigsaw puzzle?

The topic for this week’s challenge is Found Objects.
In my mind this is a sub -category of still life where the subject/s have been found or discovered but it is open to your unique interpretation.
New Images or one from your archives to be posted before Friday 24 August (UK time).

Once again apologies for the inactivity - 8 appointments for David in the last 14 days, including one today. The Oncology one was as good as it cold possibly be and they have given him a '4 week holiday' from chemo, mainly to assist with healing some nasty wounds on his foot, so this is what this week has been like:
Brodie did not want to go out there on Monday with that sky, but we did get a full 20 ml of rain eventually!
Then today's result - think we're stuck at home for a while again:
A challenging time for you and David, Dierdre.

Agreed about the octopus shot. I did a double take when I saw them.

The 52 Project 2018 - Week 17

This raven has been hanging around my yard for over a year. The lack of black feathers on the back of its head gives it a strange profile and enables easy identification: a rare thing with ravens. I believe it is nesting - its Spring here in Australia - and I hope to get some photos of the offspring.
