  1. I dont post many images, but now and again I will take a photo that I like and post it on here. Sometimes they work, sometimes they dont, If someone can offer a bit of advice that helps me achieve better results in the future, then thanks. I dont think I have yet seen a rude or condescending remark given about anyones images posted here. With such a wide range of interests and subjects photographed, it makes it a nice all round place to be. I did trawl the web to find somewhere with just this type of...ambience ?, for the want of a better word

  11. Advice like this is absolutely invaluable to me, thank you BP
  12. I aim for a very fast walk of around 4 and a half miles twice a week, trouble is it is usually Saturday and Sunday. During the summer months I try at least three times a week to cycle to work and back, a round trip of ten miles per day. Would like to do more, but work prevents me from doing so. The wife and I, once we set out walking, end up doing about eight to ten miles sometimes, but that's not very often sadly.

  14. So, maybe time to give it another go eh? I can only find disposables with 24 shots at the moment, but there are some great websites out there experimenting with disposables there are some by people who tied them to public benches and left a note...some of the results are ...a..hmm ...a little disturbing shall we say, so I didnt include that link http://content.photojojo.com/diy/ten-creative-ways-to-use-disposable-cameras/ http://gizmodo.com/5649180/22-experiments-with-disposable-cameras

    Couldnt agree more, well done!
  16. I too thought that was a bit of an insight, I would propose our own competition, a couple or three disposable cameras that everyone can have one shot with before passing it on to the next person by post. The results would be quite something I'm sure....or has it been done here already??
  17. Totally agree, a worthy winner
  18. Away to Majorca 20th -29th July Away in Normandy from 3rd Oct-9th Oct The possibilty of car sharing could be an option for those from the same area, although gawd forbid anyone would want to travel far in my jalopy A very firm rattly old Sukuki Jimny
  19. I hear he does not cast a shadow either Fuji ........ Seriously, just by the feel of this lens I imagine it will be on the camera for quite a while, just how did you reverse the mirror image BP?
  20. Back at ya BP (Ok, so it was the first one out of the lens, give me time )
  21. I was under the impression that you needed something like photoshop ect to actually process the RAW image, as in post processing. Since I have paint.net and FastStone to tweak images for jpeg, I thought for RAW I need a photoshop, or similar program
