  1. I clicked, I twiddled very little, but I am posting.
  2. Hi Gareth, welcome aboard
  3. Oh, definitely 4, I wouldn't expect any less from the chavvy side of the pennines.
  4. So, after shaving everyday for my entire adult life, a few months ago I decided to grow a beard, ever since I've been the brunt of many a family joke, not least of which is being known as Daddy Pig! Here is my Father's Day pressie.
  5. I am keeping a very close eye on those clouds though
  6. Up at 7, 3 loads of washing done and hung out, everyone else is still in bed. Happy Father's Day!
  7. Welcome to The Independent Photography Forum. Please feel free to browse around and get to know the others. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask.

  8. That's it, she's away back to London.
  9. Sorry Korks, taken only 3 images this week, you've seen the first 2 this is the third.

Indeed a stonker. Well done Beepy!
  11. Congratulations Chrissy! Looks like it's over to you again
  12. The oldest daughter is up from London for the weekend
  13. As you can see from the image, the area of East Yorkshire I live in is very flat, no hills for miles, so it does make a change for me to be able to get this perspective. It'll do both. I don't bother with the Jpegs, DNG only, although the dynamic range isn't great it does give some leeway for PP.
  14. Just 2 night shifts to go then (hopefully) back to normality. I was determined to get out for an hour last night after work, so I grabbed the drone and visited Wressle, a small local village. That's Wressle Castle in the BG, my intentions were to do a fly-by and grab some footage, the castle is only open to the public one weekend a year, which, coincidentally, is this coming weekend. Now, the only access is via the riverbank, and as you can see there were quite a few cows about. I have a particular aversion to cows following an incident some years ago where myself and the family were charged by half a dozen, I'm not sure they would have taken kindly to a buzzing drone so I wasn't prepared to venture any closer. Of course, I could have flown there from where I was stood but that would have meant flouncing the law, the drone would have been beyond line-of-sight which is illegal, being a responsible law abiding citizen I wasn't prepared to do that.
  15. Congrats from me too!
  16. I through an extension tube on the camera intending to grab a few aphids, that didn't quite work out, the aphids are now history and my rose can breath again. So I grabbed a leaf instead.
  17. Jumping back to this week briefly. I've had a good few days at work (hence my absence), thankfully we avoided the rain that plagued much of the country, in fact, apart from a brief shower last Friday, we've had no rain at all. This is how our days have looked:
  18. His lordship sends his apologies but due to the limited network access at the folly he's asked me to start the challenge on his behalf. Korky has set the theme as - Mainly Mono Entries are invited until midnight on the 1st of June (June already?? Good grief!)
