I like the fact that we can't see a face - it lends a sense of mystery and (I think) a hint of sadness.

 

Does the bollard compete for the viewers attention a little too much? I think I'd be tempted to try a quick and dirty removal to decide if it's worth spending time with.

I post a pic recently, and got poked with a stick for blacking out, then blurring the BG........leave it in.....give it context....they said..

I post this with contextual ( is that a real word?) content, and it is suggested I clone it out ...... ( buries head in cushion and weeps silently)

Seriously though......I did consider cloning the bollard out.....then decided it gave the pic context......or, perhaps a youthful........Ph....c ....symbol ;-P

Without question! We're talking about a bollard and whether it's better in or out. It wasn't a criticism it was an observation.
