This started life as a quick grab shot as I was walking from one metro train to another. The shot was a little underexposed and hence a little noisy.

Anyway, I decided to see if I could make a moody mono from the result. My young daughter just arrived at the iMac and said it looks atmospheric. I may have got the moody look after all?      Edit - It does look a little bit darker than the file that has been posted here via Flickr.

Really good picture kev, I like the composition and for me  the light is spot on,

Geoff

Thanks Geoff.

The ever so slightly lighter version pre Flickr just gives a little more detail in the darker vignette areas.

Aye....one that could only work in mono  me thinks. Nice one Kev

Thanks annie. It took me all of 1 second to make the decision about mono. Indeed that decision was already made prior to pressing the shutter release button.  :)

I like it, but it seems a shame the people aren't quite right (but that's not something that's in your hands!) - a group of two, silhouetted, would have been better perhaps, or even a lone figure.

Thanks Chris. I totally agree with you about the people.
