Getting better

The boy's broken leg is now on the way to recovery and he's allowed out of his kitten pen for longer periods of exercise. He was all sweetness and light at the surgery, so the vet was somewhat bemused when I showed her the pictures of him leaping around in the air! :-)

When my dog had a big operation and jumped of the vets table soon after with a stomach full of stitches I was astonished..the vet told me it's a survival instinct. In the wild they would not survive if they laid down and showed they were poorly, and even though our pets are domesticated they do still have those instincts that kick in for survival...
