Messing around, in more ways than one here.

I was just seeing what my cheap LED Ringlight would do, but didn't have a model to hand, so it had to be Yours Truly.

I have never really concentrated on a serious Self Portrait before..........it isn't as easy as you think, becaue the temptation is, to look into camera, or to look wild as you try to focus on something.

Here, I practised for a while until I got what I wanted, then used recently learned processing techniches to add mono drama.

One for the archives and for my new Avatar.

Thanks folks.....

Hi, Chris......ref hair blurring......I'm not yet clever enough to take down an unwanted background ....here the hair isn't so much as blurred but within a halo of the original lighter BG.....unfortunately this gives it the blurred look.

Brush a darker tone, or clone too close to hair or fur and you lose it, so I left the halo.....

How would you darken the BG without blurring the strands of grey locks..........anybody?

If there is a simple way that I can grasp then I will re- do the RAW file.

Cheers!
