A BEAUTIFUL OLD LADY...FAO VWGolf

You are all very familiar with our Outdoor moggie...Big Ollie.....here is his companion.

Having admired that beautiful Siamese Kitten belonging to member VWGolf, I thought that she and all of you should see our venerable old lady of 17 years.

She is our blue eyed House Cat TINKE, who only ventures outside if the temperature is 55f or above but only if she thinks its safe, she is a Birman, originating from South Africa..........we acquired her aged five as a rescue cat twelve years ago.

As I explained in a reply recently, she too suffered a horrendus injury to a hind leg after it was almost torn off by a loose Greyhound, she went missing for two days....dragged herself home in a rainstorm.

It was six months before she walked again......but within a year she was bouncing around like that Siamese kitten.....even now, aged 17 she still loves to race around after the light from a laser pen.

Here I wa testing lighting from an LED Ringlight:

A tortie-point - isn't she gorgeous!  And doesn't look anything like her age.  An intelligent breed, I understand.  She really is lovely.  And extremely luck to have survived those terrible injuries.  I bet you love her to bits  :-)

I got called out to a cat once that had been attacked by four greyhounds, not on leads.  One of her legs was hanging on by the skin and they disembowelled her.  She died quickly, before I could get her to any help.  So sad.  All through people not taking responsibility for their dogs!  Makes me so angry.
