JUST WASHED

During the very cold and damp weather when it is just too dreary to shoot much outside, I resort to using what I call my....Rainy Day....cameras and lenses:

 

Here I used the beautiful PANASONIC GF1 together with the extremely cheap, but very effective 35-1.7 Chinese made CCTV lens that offers amazing manual focus opportunities.

 

Here I had just washed the apples and pears from our weekly market and then left them to drain on a rack, the soft winter light was coming through the kitchen window giving a real Chiaroscuro effect.

Thank you folks, wonderful, the way this post resurfaced.....it is one of my personal favourites......so simple too, and a very quick shot whilst the fruit was still wet and draining.
