Being a macro photographer, like most bugs, I tend to go into a hibernacula like they do (the house!).

I take fewer images as the weather gets colder, and the camera sometimes doesn't see they light of day for a fortnight or more.

Picked it up very briefly today though for one shot...

Grab shot through the window (double glazed door) - of an occasional visitor to the garden - a little wren. The wren is the second smallest bird in Britain (only the Goldcrest is smaller). Not a particularly good shot, however. Murky conditions, the light not helping at all... Taken at f/8, ISO400...
