You are absolutely correct, actually.

I was attempting to go for a old and slightly over-exposed look to them as I thought the setting warranted it. Obviously I was waaaaay off the mark and fair play for pointing that out.

Now I come to think of it I can't actually think of much to redeem them...

...so I think I'll remove them.

As much as I like to see originality and creativity displayed on the forum, I'm at a bit of a loss with these images. They're very contrasty, there doesn't seem to be any focal point to any of the photographs and, to be brutally frank, I'm struggling to find anything positive to say. But...

Rather than this develop into a long string of negative comments, why not tell us why you shot the images and what you where hoping to achieve.

Korky has said almost what I was about to......

What was your motivation for taking them?

I like experimental/creative photography as much as he does, but I can't really get to grips with this set for exactly the same reasons.

A focal point, like a rusty bucket, or perhaps a tool bench would have added interest, but if they weren't there, then what was?

Whoa!

Did we scare the guy off......hope not!

No you didn't. :D

I took them down because there weren't terribly good!

You just pointed out a couple of things that upon reflection were entirely correct and to be honest, it was a patchy selection at best, and if anything has helped to teach me a number of things:

1. A bit more circumspection is required when posting

2. I should go with my instincts rather more

3. I should really stop fiddling with things so much

4. Always to take a picture *OF* something!

So actually I learnt a lot and I went out and tried doing just that, and with better results I think.

I came on this forum to learn and I am doing so, so it's all good.
